Ginsey Nickles St. Croix is one of agility’s most dynamic and respected handlers, and has earned numerous titles in obedience, tracking, conformation, and, of course, agility. Widely recognized for her personal achievements in the ring, Ginsey competes on the national circuit with Breezy, a Giant Schnauzer; Coup, a Cocker Spaniel; Whisper, a Miniature Pinscher; and Star, a Border Collie. Ginsey is the founder of Fast Tracks Agility, based in Canton, Georgia. Her training methods are based on her personal philosophy of strong foundation work and obstacle commitment, using toys, food, and praise to enhance the dog’s enjoyment and understanding of its role in the agility team. In addition, Ginsey seeks to teach the skills that each individual handler requires to satisfy their canine partner’s needs and, most importantly, to foster the positive attitude all handlers must develop to ensure the best working relationship with their dogs. Ginsey has worked successfully with many different breeds through seminars, group classes, and private lessons. With her positive, enthusiastic attitude, boundless energy, and unerring eye for detail, Ginsey is a favorite with her students, their dogs, and seminar attendees alike. |
